curious facts...

Just some random things I've learned about life in Chile...
- No one is ever barefoot in the house
- It's rude to wait for everyone to have their food before you start eating yours
- There aren't bus stops, per say, you just stand up and push your way to the door when you're ready to get off ... and the bus driver will slow down, maybe even stop, to let you off
- The temp is usually super cold in the morning and then super hot by the afternoon
- Even the children go to bed at like 11:00pm
- Eating schedule confuses me and I'm always hungry, but never quite sure if I should be eating...
- I have seen 2 /5 of the males I live with in their underwear already, and no one seems as bothered by this as I am...
- It's pretty much true that only gringos wear flip flops
- TV must be turned on as often as possible, with the volume turned up as high as possible
- Everyone just piles into Mom and Dad's bed to watch said TV, not in the TV room, and not on a couch...

So yeah... life is great, just a couple things to get used to...
